We are seeking a talented and experienced OpenShift Engineer to join our dynamic team on a 6month extendable contract. In this role you will be responsible for managing configuring and optimizing our OpenShift environments. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure the stability performance and scalability of our containerized applications.
Tasks
- OpenShift Management: Install configure and manage OpenShift clusters in production and development environments.
- Automation with Ansible: Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automated deployments configurations and management tasks.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of OpenShift clusters ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to OpenShift infrastructure and application deployments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development operations and DevOps teams to integrate OpenShift solutions that meet business needs.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for OpenShift configurations procedures and troubleshooting guides.
- Security Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices within OpenShift environments.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in managing and supporting OpenShift environments.
- Ansible Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Ansible for automation of deployment and configuration tasks.
- Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
- Linux Expertise: Proficient in Linux system administration.
- Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
- ProblemSolving: Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Language: Fluency in German is mandatory.
