Job Description
At Modual we are committed to a green future. We manufacture stateoftheart battery systems of residential and industrial sizes from secondlife battery cells. With the environment in mind and an innovation pipeline ready to be tackled we strive for maximum reliability and reuse of existing battery cells in our products. For this we have developed and combined our highly specialised Battery Management System with our unique Battery Cell evaluation technology providing reliability and ultimately supporting the circular battery economy idea.
We are searching for an electrical engineer with experience in PCB Design and Software Engineering and ideally some experience in highvoltage and HighCapacity Battery Systems to expand our R&D department.
Tasks
- Electrical System Engineering for stateoftheart BESS solutions
- PCB Design and Engineering including production support
- Embedded Software Engineering
- Processes engineering fulfilling emerging standardisation requirements such as the EU Battery Pass or CE Certification.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
- PCB Design experience (Altium)
- Experience with battery technologies
- Software Engineering (C C Rust Go Python)
- Functional Safety Standards
- Languages: English German (conversational)
Bonus Skills:
- Big Data
- Machine Learning
- IoT (Cloud REST Web)
- Experience in High Capacity Storage Systems > 1Mwh
- Experience interacting with grid levels 5 and 7
