Senior Server Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing configuring and maintaining server hardware and software
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
• Implementing security measures to protect server systems
• Managing user accounts and access permissions
• Planning and implementing server backups and disaster recovery procedures
• Collaborating with other IT teams to resolve network and connectivity issues
• Participating in the planning and of server upgrades and migrations
• Developing and maintaining documentation for server configurations and procedures
• Conducting regular audits of server systems to ensure compliance with security standards
• Providing technical support and guidance to junior server administrators

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• 5 years of experience in server administration
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or HyperV
• Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols
• Indepth understanding of server security best practices
• Advanced troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
• Scripting skills for automation and task simplification
• Certifications such as MCSE RHCE or VCP are a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
