Job Description
Job Title: Oracle Apps DBA
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle EBusiness Suite (R12) administration database management and strong expertise in Oracle technologies. The role involves ensuring the availability performance and security of our Oracle databases and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Oracle EBusiness Suite (R12) environments including installation configuration patching and cloning.
- Perform database backup recovery and performance tuning to ensure optimal database performance.
- Administer Oracle RAC ASM and Data Guard to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in the database and application servers.
- Manage concurrent managers forms and reports within Oracle EBS.
- Work closely with development and support teams to resolve any applicationrelated issues.
- Implement database security protocols and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migration and cloudbased environments.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Oracle Apps DBA with expertise in Oracle EBusiness Suite (R12).
- Proficiency in Oracle RAC ASM Data Guard and database tuning.
- Strong understanding of database backup recovery and security protocols.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Knowledge of Oracle SQL PL/SQL and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and management.
- Automation skills using Shell scripting or similar tools.
- Exposure to multitier environments and application support.
