Job Description

The role requires the incumbent to provide seamless and customerfocused solutions by managing cargo bookings and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure efficient shipment processes.

The individual will play a critical role in maintaining customer relationships and ensuring data accuracy throughout the cargo booking process.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with daily cargo bookings on various airline products ensuring smooth processing and accurate documentation.
  • Book and confirm capacity with airlines keeping customers informed of their shipment status.
  • Understand and communicate the specific requirements of different airline products to customers providing tailored advice as needed.
  • Manage the administrative tasks related to cargo bookings including entering flight reservations into the system and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Liaise with customers warehouse teams carriers customs and other relevant parties to fulfill shipment requirements.
  • Track and monitor the status of shipments updating customers promptly on any changes or issues.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Billing Team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a related field such as airfreight customer service or coloading.
  • Minimum educational qualifications of O & N Levels.
  • Familiarity with the CCN system.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer service orientation.
  • Ability to adapt to changes demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able work shifts and weekends as required.
