Job Description
2 to 8 years of experience with SQL and PL/pgSQL (PostgreSQL).
Proficient in writing complex functions triggers and stored procedures in SQL and PL/pgSQL.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture database internals and configuration.
Skilled in performance tuning query optimization and indexing.
Experienced in database design schema management normalization and denormalization techniques.
Proficient with advanced data types like JSON/JSONB arrays hstore and Common Table Expressions (CTEs).
Knowledgeable in partitioning sharding and replication for scalability.
Familiar with backup recovery failover and disaster recovery strategies including pointintime recovery (PITR).
Wellversed in security best practices such as role management permissions and data encryption.
Experience with cloud database solutions like AWS RDS Google Cloud SQL or Azure PostgreSQL.
Expertise in using monitoring tools like pgstatstatements Prometheus Grafana and Datadog.
