The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of legalspecific administrative support experience. Preferred candidates will have experience supporting a legal business practice focused on corporate transactional matters mergers and acquisitions business planning and taxation trusts and estates and/or trademarks.
Responsibilities:
Prepare proofread and edit legal documents and correspondence
Schedule and coordinate meetings conferences and travel arrangements
Assist with billing processes by entering and managing time records
Handle client communications both written and verbal with professionalism and confidentiality
Manage electronic and paper filing systems ensuring documents are accurately filed and easily accessible
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of legalspecific administrative support experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)
Typing speed of 75 wpm or higher
Ability to multitask meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
Strong attention to detail
Superior communication skills both verbal and written
