We are hiring Assistant Manager Tender & QS for a leading Construction Company

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the endtoend tendering process for construction projects
• Conduct quantity surveying to estimate and monitor project costs
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate quantity takeoffs
• Assist in defining project scopes and preparing tender documents
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms
• Review and analyze project budgets to control costs effectively
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely tender proposals
• Provide support in evaluating project variations and cost implications
• Monitor and report on project financial performance and risks
• Assist in resolving commercial issues and disputes
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
• Participate in the development and improvement of tendering strategies
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Support senior management in other related tasks as required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or related field
• Proven experience in tender management and quantity surveying
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
• Strong proficiency in project cost control and budget management
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to analyze complex data and provide meaningful insights
• Proficiency in relevant software applications like MS Excel AutoCAD and estimating tools
• Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
• Sound understanding of construction industry practices and standards
• Proactive attitude with a focus on problemsolving and decisionmaking
• Team player with the ability to collaborate across different functions
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g. RICS CIOB) will be an advantage
• Flexibility to travel as needed for project requirements
• Strong ethical conduct and integrity in all aspects of work
