Overview:
The Staff Nurse (ANM/GNM) plays a crucial role in providing highquality patient care at Panvel location. They are responsible for ensuring the wellbeing of patients and are an integral part of the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic patient care and support in critical situations
- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Assist with patient admissions transfers and discharges
- Accurately document all patient interactions and care provided
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to assess patient needs
- Ensure compliance with medical and nursing standards and regulations
- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical assistance
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition
- Conduct ongoing patient education and support for their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control measures
Required Qualifications:
- ANM or GNM certification from a recognized institution
- Valid nursing license from the respective state nursing council
- Minimum of 13 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in basic nursing procedures and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Knowledge of medical equipment and patient monitoring techniques
- Understanding of infection control practices and safety protocols
- Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency situations with composure
