We are a fastgrowing renewable energy startup specializing in solar manufacturing and EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction). As we continue to expand we seek a Senior Manager for Human Resources to lead the development and implementation of HR strategies focusing on building a highperforming team. This role is critical to structuring the organization s HR function ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a productive work environment.
Position Overview:
The Senior Manager HR will oversee all HR operations including recruitment payroll compliance employee relations and retention strategies. This role requires a strategic leader who can partner closely with the CEO to drive HR initiatives ensuring that the company attracts develops and retains top talent. Experience in manufacturing projectbased organizations or the renewable energy sector will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
1. **Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:**
Design and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent particularly in solar manufacturing and EPC project roles.
Manage the endtoend recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
Work closely with department heads to understand workforce needs and plan for future staffing requirements.
2. **Employee Relations & Retention:**
Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives aimed at improving retention and morale.
Address employee grievances foster a positive working environment and promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Lead efforts to build and maintain a highperformance culture that aligns with company values and objectives.
3. **HR Compliance & Policies:**
Ensure compliance with local and national labor laws including handling legal requirements related to employment payroll and industrial relations.
Review and update HR policies to reflect industry best practices and organizational growth.
4. **Compensation & Payroll Management:**
Oversee payroll processing ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of salaries and statutory payments.
Develop and manage compensation strategies including salary benchmarking incentives and benefits administration to remain competitive.
5. **Performance Management:**
Drive the performance appraisal process ensuring that performance reviews are conducted effectively and that employees receive actionable feedback.
Collaborate with department heads to set clear performance objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for employees.
6. **HR Strategy & Leadership:**
Work closely with the CEO to develop longterm HR strategies aligned with business goals.
Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on HR best practices workforce planning and organizational development.
7. **Workforce Planning & Development:**
Anticipate future talent needs and develop strategies to build internal capabilities through workforce planning and succession planning.
Design career paths and employee development programs that align with business needs.
**Qualifications & Skills:**
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field. A Master s degree (MBAHR) is preferred.
6 years of HR experience ideally in manufacturing EPC or renewable energy sectors.
Strong understanding of HR practices labour laws and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to drive HR initiatives and influence at all levels of the organization.
Experience in talent acquisition employee engagement and performance management.
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced startup environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
**Compensation:**
The compensation package for candidates with 6 years of experience is INR 6 Lacs per annum. Additional benefits and opportunities for growth will be offered based on performance and contribution to the companys success.
