We are looking for a Senior HR Manager who will report to a Director HR Business Partner as part of the Center HR team. This person will provide HR business partnership and support to McDonalds corporate functional leadership and staff. The HR Manager leverages strong relationships and consulting skills to support the people management of aligned functions focused on building leadership capabilities within the organization. Areas of focus include but are not limited to compensation and performance management employee relations and staff development. Key stakeholders include staff and leadership teams across multiple functions within global teams.
In this role you will:
Actively support development and of functional strategic plan(s) ensuring that people are positioned to drive results.
In partnership with recruiting function works with functional departments regarding talent selection job descriptions and leveling of new roles.
Consult and coach functional line management on organizational decisions (e.g. staffing development employee relations) to ensure that they align with the people strategies.
Partner with the HR Director to coordinate talent planning activities (succession planning etc. with a focus on achieving diversity and creating developmental plans for high performing high potential staff.
Partner with Director to coordinate the annual compensation and bonus process; and to facilitate and embed performance review processes.
Anticipate and assess the gaps between business needs and people systems/capabilities within function and uses information to drive appropriate actions.
Function as a liaison aligning efforts of functional partners with other corporate departments.
Forge strong partnerships within the functional leadership teams and organization to maximize ability to impact decisions and actions insuring that people practices align with McDonalds values.
Provide training and development as needed on HR policies practices and initiative deployments.

The expected salary range for this role is $129800 $165490 per year

Qualifications :
Experience in an HR Generalist/Business Partner role
Bachelors degree in HR or related field with an advanced degree preferred
Experience with supporting a globally dispersed workforce
Experience with employee relations and legal investigations in the US
Ability to successfully execute against multiple tasks and deadlines
Ability to use disparate workforce datasets to help design and drive adoption of people programs
Exceptional communication skills with an ability to adapt approach to meet needs of audience
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and influence stakeholders
Adept at forging a collaborative approach and aligning team members/resources to achieve outcomes
Experience with developing and delivering group presentations
Comfort with Word PowerPoint and collaborative technologies; high Excel proficiency is a strong plus
