Job Description
Role: Senior Infrastructure Administrator L3
- Location: Bangalore
- Work mode: Night Shift (Work from Home )
- Education: Postsecondary degree in IT Management Computer Science or equivalent mix of training and experience.
- Experience: 510 years in IT infrastructure roles.

Job Summary:
The Senior Infrastructure Administrator Tier 3 is responsible for both strategic and daytoday operations of IT infrastructure. As a senior technical resource you will be part of a team responsible for providing services to internal customers related to IT infrastructure both onpremised and cloud based including personal computers servers networking remote access technologies mobile devices data centers and communications tools and services.
Essential Functions:
1. IT Infrastructure:
- Part of a team responsible for the operation and maintenance of all onpremises and cloud services across us.
- Provide support to Data Center operations including servers networks and backup systems.
- Monitor and respond to Storage Networking and Server Infrastructure Incidents.
- Assist In IT Security Industry Best Practices.
- Contribute to IT asset management databases processes and policies.
- Work with IT leadership to defining the standards for provisioning setup and maintenance of individual computing requirements including laptops desktops and mobile devices.
- Provide input on the design and of the IT Disaster Recovery Plan.
2. Technical/Knowledge:
- Technical Knowledge and understanding in networking server administration and end user computers.
- Be committed to personal development of new technical skills and knowledge.
- Ensure that technical information and knowledge is recorded and maintained in accordance with IT standards.
- Contribute to a better understanding of technology across with both technical and business teams.
- Work with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure that architecture diagrams and technical standards are developed and maintained.
- Understanding of Cloud technologies such as Azure/0365 and AWS.
- Understanding of server patching system backups and proactive administration of environments.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Postsecondary degree in IT Management Computer Science or equivalent mix of training and experience.
Experience: 510 years in IT infrastructure roles.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong IT knowledge and understanding
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- IT service management (ITIL preferred)
- Experience in a large IT enterprise environment
- Understanding of networking storage and security
Software Application and Technical Knowledge:
- Microsoft AD (Active Directory) AAD (Azure Active Directory)**
- 0365 Administration
- Azure
- AWS
- Backup software (such as Veeam)
- Networking (such as Meraki SonicWALLs)
- Infrastructure deployed in onpremises and Cloud environments
- ITSM tools such as JIRA
Physical/Visual/Mental Demands
Position requires ability to react to fast pace demands verbally converse with other individuals move and lift objects of up to 15 pounds. Requires moderate amount of time sitting. Requires use of office equipment including telephone personal computer calculator copy and fax machine. Ability to audit evaluate and report all concerns and recommendations. At times may be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment when entering production areas and working near moving equipment and machinery. May be exposed to noise dust and cold/hot temperatures when working in production areas.
