Job Description
- Create detailed design drawings and specifications using CAD software
- Conduct thorough research to identify and select appropriate materials and components for the design
- Collaborate with other engineers and team members to ensure the design meets all technical and functional requirements
- Perform testing and analysis of prototypes to validate the designs performance and functionality
- Make necessary design modifications based on feedback and testing results
- Prepare and present design proposals and reports to stakeholders
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
- Proven work experience as a Design Engineer or a similar role
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and materials
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work
Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and Navisworks. Proficiency in creating 3D models, Piping Isometrics, GA drawings, and Piping Layouts. In-depth knowledge of Piping BOM, MTO, and Piping Material Specifications (PMS). Familiarity with piping support systems and basic understanding of stress analysis. Solid understanding of P&ID for boilers and power plants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions. Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide a team towards successful project completion.
