Job Description
Open Position: Senior Actuary Specialist (Financial Institution)
A Financial Institution Company is currently hiring Senior Actuary Specialist to join the team and be based in the Kuala Lumpur office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Having more than 3 years of working experience within the Actuary industry
- Holds Bachelor Degree in Actuarial Science Statistic Mathematics or equivalent
- Good understanding of actuarial basis statutory and traditional embedded value economic capitals and financial reporting standard
- Develop and review technical specifications and frameworks for the fintech products systems and ensure compliance according to the rules and regulations
- Participate in setup system enhancement and involved in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the fintech product and systems
- Perform detailed business analysis market analysis with a good understanding of mathematical modeling techniques statistical concepts as well as best practices
- Good knowledge of statistical analysis tools programming languages such as Excel SAS R Phyton SQL and etc
- Excellent critical thinking problemsolving and communication skills
