Atithi Indian Restaurants is a chain of casual finedine indian Restarants offering Food Service and Ambiance in various cities of Netherlands.
Tasks
- Performing preparatory work such as washing cutting (pre)cooking mixing/stirring etc.
- Assessing the quality (freshness shelf life etc.) of products/ingredients to be used.
- Preparing dishes according to recipes or specific instructions from the sous chef/master chef. Performing interim quality checks (garnish taste colour fluidity etc.) and adjusting where necessary.
- Serving presenting and garnishing.
- Checking dishes for presentation standards (before they are served to the guest).
- Managing and checking the pass counter. Making proposals for changes to menus recipes garnishes etc. Developing proposals in recipes and preparation instructions etc.
- Stock management: checking receiving storing and accounting for stock.
- Basic knowledge and skills of the main streams of Indian cuisine.
- Basic knowledge and skills of operating Tandoor.
- Cleaning the work environment and kitchen equipment.
- Reporting defects and prevention.
- Controlling waste disposal minimizing waste and controlling costs.
Requirements
- Permanent Residence in EU/EER/Switzerland
- MBO Level3/ EQF3/ Secondary Vocational Education Diploma
- Min. 1 year diploma in hotelmanagement or an equivalent field
- Candidate must be able to communicate in English/Dutch
