Atithi Indian Restaurants is a chain of casual finedine indian Restarants offering Food Service and Ambiance in various cities of Netherlands.

Tasks

1. Performing preparatory work such as washing cutting (pre)cooking mixing/stirring etc.
2. Assessing the quality (freshness shelf life etc.) of products/ingredients to be used.
3. Preparing dishes according to recipes or specific instructions from the sous chef/master chef. Performing interim quality checks (garnish taste colour fluidity etc.) and adjusting where necessary.
4. Serving presenting and garnishing.
5. Checking dishes for presentation standards (before they are served to the guest).
6. Managing and checking the pass counter. Making proposals for changes to menus recipes garnishes etc. Developing proposals in recipes and preparation instructions etc.
7. Stock management: checking receiving storing and accounting for stock.
8. Basic knowledge and skills of the main streams of Indian cuisine.
9. Basic knowledge and skills of operating Tandoor.
10. Cleaning the work environment and kitchen equipment.
11. Reporting defects and prevention.
12. Controlling waste disposal minimizing waste and controlling costs.

Requirements

• Permanent Residence in EU/EER/Switzerland
• MBO Level3/ EQF3/ Secondary Vocational Education Diploma
• Min. 1 year diploma in hotelmanagement or an equivalent field
• Candidate must be able to communicate in English/Dutch
