Currently we are hiring Staff Nurses for a Private Nursing home in Co. Laois Ireland.

Responsibilities
- Individualised care should be assessed planned carried out and evaluated with any necessary medical or other treatments sought.
- Keep an eye out for and meet any extra needs the residents may have such as chiropodist visits eye exams hearing consultations etc.
- When necessary take part in the assessment and revision of policies and processes.
- Make sure that any specimens that need to be delivered to the hospital or surgery are collected.
- Perform all nursing procedures with effectiveness and efficiency.
- Oversight and guidance of staff nurse interns.
- Preserve and enhance your professional expertise. Remain current in your field of clinical competence on a professional level.
Requirements
- Registered with NMBI. Must have an active PIN
- Must have a valid work visa in Ireland No Work Permit Offered
- Fluent in English language (verbal and written) and be eligible to work in Ireland
- Has clinical experience in healthcare
- Ensure all residents are treated with dignity privacy & respect.
- Experience dealing with elderly clients.
- Have a good knowledge and awareness of HIQA standards and the ability to participate in the inspection process
