Job Description

We are hiring a Inpatient Spine Liaison Nurse CNM2 to a leading private hospital in Dublin Ireland. We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the center of all we do.

Key Responsibilities


  • To hold a key role in the management of the inpatients of the Poynton SpineCare
  • Complete regular inpatient ward rounds in collaboration with spine consultants.
  • Communicate with all consultants of the Poynton Spine Care
  • Work collaboratively with other persons to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to care is used for all patients referred to patients of the Poynton SpineCare
  • Provide mentorship preceptorship and education for nursing colleagues as appropriate.
  • Organise the planning and implementation of care for spine patients and their significant others.





Requirements

Registered General Nurse with The Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or eligible to register with NMBI.

5 years postregistration experience in the acute hospital setting/relevant clinical area within the last seven years.

A minimum of three years experience in the specialist area of orthopedics and / or spine surgery.

Management experience desirable.

Have the ability to practice safely and effectively fulfilling his/her professional responsibility within his/her scope of practice.

Have evidence of continuing professional development.

Formal recognized postregistration education relevant to the area of specialist practice at level 8 (higher Diploma) according to the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) National Framework is desirable.
