Job Description

We are hiring a Staff Nurse Surgical Day Units in a Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Provides direct care to assigned paediatric and adult patients.
- This position requires the holder to be able to take command at night.
- Takes the nursing history summaries the data and identifies nursing diagnoses or patient care needs.
- Observes and records patient signs symptoms and behaviours as well as their physiological status; gives the assessment of changes proposed intervention revisions and intended goals.
- Follows policies in implementing a customised plan of treatment for newly admitted patients.
- Delivers designated nurse interventions to assigned patients in accordance with the established medical plan of care.
- Performs admission discharge and transfer processes while assisting others with patient activities and care.
- Executes consultants instructions for all assigned patients ensuring that drugs and treatments are administered safely and properly.
Requirements
- Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) Registered General Nurse licence in good standing.
- Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) Registered Childrens Nurse licence in good standing.
- Acute hospital experience is crucial.
- Demonstrate your capacity to operate in a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate motivation and an inventive approach to the job.
