Role Overview:
The Trainer in the Placements & Corporate Relations department will be responsible for preparing students to secure jobs in the digital marketing industry. This includes conducting mock interviews providing mentorship and guiding students through the recruitment process. The trainer will ensure that students are wellequipped with the necessary technical communication and soft skills required to excel in various digital marketing roles.
Effectively prepare students to successfully navigate and clear key recruitment stages including HR screening assignment evaluations aptitude tests hiring manager interviews and salary negotiations.
Conduct mock interviews for various digital marketing roles (SEO SEM PPC Social Media Analytics Content Creation etc.) and provide constructive feedback on technical and soft skills to enhance student performance.
Offer tailored mentorship to help students identify strengths address areas for improvement and align their aspirations with industry trends and opportunities in digital marketing.
Assist students in building impactful resumes LinkedIn profiles and portfolios emphasizing relevant skills certifications and project work to enhance employability.
Identify skill gaps and recommend courses or workshops conducting sessions on industry trends job role expectations and market requirements to ensure student readiness.
Train students on key soft skills (communication negotiation problemsolving teamwork) and conduct sessions on interview etiquette professional behavior and salary negotiations.
Train students on the latest tools platforms and technologies in digital marketing.
Track and assess student progress through regular evaluations provide datadriven feedback and adjust mentoring strategies to continuously improve placement readiness.
Take proactive steps to enhance student preparation stay current with industry advancements and implement systems to monitor key metrics like interview success and skill development outcomes.
To upgrade timely selfknowledge across all aspects of digital marketing to be be able to guide and mentor students efficiently.
To be able to customize and deliver training to both individuals and groups depending upon their existing understanding of the topic.
Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver course material confidently and effectively in sessions lasting between 2 to 4 hours.
Fluent oral as well as written communication skills
Strong understanding of various digital marketing domains including SEO SEM Social Media Marketing Content Strategy and Analytics.
Uptodate with the latest trends tools and best practices in digital marketing.
Previous experience in training mentoring or coaching students or professionals preferably in the digital marketing space.
Ability to conduct mock interviews review resumes and guide students towards career success.
Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
Proven ability to mentor students on soft skills professional etiquette and behavioral aspects of the workplace.
Strong ability to provide constructive feedback and mentor students through their learning process.
Analytical mindset to assess student performance and readiness for placements.
Willingness to work closely with the placement team corporate partners and students to ensure a successful placement process.
Ability to adapt teaching methods based on the diverse needs of students.
Good people skills and a passion for teaching and the Digital Marketing space in general
Education:
Any graduate Any specialization
Any postgraduate Any specialization
Relevant certifications in Digital Marketing (e.g. Google Ads Meta Certification SEMrush etc.) are a plus.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics Ads Manager SEM tools and social media platforms.
Comfortable using virtual tools for mentoring mock interviews and student feedback sessions
Strong command of Microsoft Excel including the use of formulas pivot tables and data validation.
Ability to create and manage dashboards for better data presentation and analysis tracking student performance and placement metrics efficiently.
