Job Description

Job Summary: The HR Metrics Analyst is responsible for analyzing and reporting on human resources data to support datadriven decisionmaking within the organization. This role involves gathering interpreting and presenting HR data related to workforce demographics performance engagement and other key metrics. The HR Metrics Analyst works closely with HR leadership and crossfunctional teams to provide insights that help improve HR processes optimize workforce management and align HR strategies with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Collection and Management:

    • Collect organize and maintain HR data from various sources including HRIS payroll systems employee surveys and other relevant databases.
    • Ensure the accuracy integrity and security of HR data through regular data audits and quality checks.
    • Develop and maintain HR dashboards databases and reporting tools to streamline data management and reporting.
  2. HR Metrics Analysis:

    • Analyze HR data to identify trends patterns and insights related to workforce demographics employee turnover engagement performance and other key HR metrics.
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives programs and processes.
    • Use statistical methods and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) to create clear actionable insights that support HR decisionmaking.
  3. Reporting and Presentation:

    • Prepare and deliver regular reports dashboards and presentations to HR leadership and business stakeholders highlighting key findings and recommendations.
    • Communicate complex data and analysis results in a clear and concise manner to nontechnical audiences.
    • Develop custom reports and analyses to address specific HRrelated questions or challenges as needed.
  4. Workforce Planning and Forecasting:

    • Assist in workforce planning by analyzing historical data and trends to forecast future workforce needs.
    • Provide datadriven insights to support talent acquisition retention strategies and succession planning.
    • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to ensure that workforce plans align with organizational goals.
  5. Support HR Initiatives:

    • Collaborate with HR teams on strategic initiatives such as employee engagement diversity and inclusion talent management and performance management.
    • Provide datadriven support for HR projects including the development of business cases scenario modeling and impact analysis.
    • Assist in the design and implementation of HR surveys assessments and other data collection tools.
  6. Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations related to HR data reporting such as EEO1 VETS4212 and other required filings.
    • Prepare and submit HR compliance reports as needed ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Maintain uptodate knowledge of HR data privacy laws and regulations and ensure that all data handling practices comply with legal requirements.
  7. Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay current with industry trends best practices and emerging technologies in HR analytics and data management.
    • Participate in professional development and training to enhance analytical skills and knowledge of HR metrics.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR data processes tools and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Data Science Statistics Business Administration or a related field.
  • 24 years of experience in HR analytics data analysis or a related role.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel SQL Power BI Tableau or similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes metrics and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
