Position: Director of Engineering
Salary Range: $80000 $120000
Experience Level: 2 5 years
As the Director of Engineering at Augmentjobs you will lead and manage the engineering team overseeing the development and implementation of cuttingedge solutions that drive our companys success. Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership:
Lead mentor and manage a team of engineers providing guidance and support to enhance their professional growth.
Develop and execute engineering strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
Promote a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Project Management:
Oversee the planning and delivery of engineering projects ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to integrate engineering solutions with other departments efforts.
Technical Expertise:
Drive the technical vision for engineering projects ensuring the implementation of best practices and cuttingedge technologies.
Review and approve technical designs architectures and code to maintain highquality standards.
Process Improvement:

Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders regarding project status challenges and opportunities.
Provide technical insights and recommendations to support strategic decisionmaking.
Innovation and Strategy:
Stay current with industry trends and advancements applying relevant knowledge to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
Contribute to the development of longterm engineering strategies and roadmaps.
Educational Background:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
Experience:
2 to 5 years of experience in a leadership role within an engineering department including proven success in managing teams and delivering complex projects.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of engineering principles software development methodologies and technologies relevant to the companys focus.
Proficiency in programming languages development tools and platforms used in the companys projects.
Leadership and Management:
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate engineering teams manage performance and foster a positive work environment.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
Communication and Collaboration:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
Project Management:
Experience in managing engineering projects including planning resource allocation and risk management.
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
Innovation and Strategic Thinking:
Ability to drive innovation and apply industry best practices to enhance engineering processes and outcomes.
Strategic mindset with the capability to align engineering efforts with broader company goals and objectives.
