Job Description:
As the VP of Operations at Augmentjobs you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the companys daytoday operations to ensure efficiency effectiveness and alignment with strategic goals. You will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement operational strategies that drive business growth enhance productivity and improve overall performance. Your role will involve managing various operational functions including logistics supply chain management quality control and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute operational strategies that support Augmentjobs business objectives and drive operational excellence.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity across all operational areas.
Team Leadership: Lead mentor and manage the operations team fostering a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement.
Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate performance and make datadriven decisions.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the operations budget ensuring costeffective use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
Supply Chain Management: Oversee the supply chain and logistics functions to ensure timely and costeffective delivery of products and services.
Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products and services meet company standards and customer expectations.
CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments including finance marketing and HR to ensure alignment and support for operational initiatives.
Risk Management: Identify potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them ensuring business continuity and compliance with regulations.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance challenges and progress to senior management.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Operations Management or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in operations management with a proven track record of leading and optimizing operational processes.
Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with a datadriven approach to decisionmaking.
Communication: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey information and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Project Management: Proficiency in project management principles and tools with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with operations management software and tools as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word).
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment adapting to changing priorities and challenges.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles and budgeting processes with the ability to manage and optimize operational budgets.
Additional Information:
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required for meetings site visits or conferences.
