Job Summary:
Industry: Energy & Utilities
Job Role: Business Analyst IT
Duration: 12months
Location: Charlotte NC
Entry level position but pre or postgraduate experience considered favorably
Job involves forecasting weather load and renewable resources
Desired experience in programming languages like SQL/Oracle RStudio Python VBA
Requires strategic thinking and problemsolving skills
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and PowerBI needed
Strong background in mathematics statistics and probabilities required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary
Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure
Responsibilities include forecasting and monitoring renewable energy resources maintaining and analyzing databases improving forecasting accuracy developing new analytics tools and interfaces validating daily solar forecasts providing meteorological insight and forecasting support
Must have a bachelors degree or equivalent in Atmospheric Science/Meteorology
Availability to work weekends and nonstandard hours as needed is required.
