Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic plant equipment.
Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
Requirements
Education: 1 year of industrial maintenance experience education (e.g. possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role.
Indepth knowledge of refrigeration systems components and controls including experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
Applicants will be considered for Associate Refrigeration Technicians General Refrigeration Technicians and Sr Refrigeration Technicians level openings.
Leveling is determined during the interview process based on skillset knowledge and experience.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information processing daily work orders and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills required.
Special Skills:
Ability to lift push and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently.
Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
Ability to work in confined and tall spaces walk climb utilize a ladder operate a lift bend and stoop.
Repetitive gripping pushing and pulling.
Frequent overhead work.
Temperatures inside the plant may vary from 25 degrees to over 100 degrees; outside work may also be needed.
Basic math skills including percentages fractions and measurements.
