Job Title: Refrigeration Maintenance Technician
Location: Vineland NJ
Duration: 12months
Job Description;
- Assist in utilities maintenance including HVAC and wastewater systems as directed.
- Document all maintenance activities including log entries and leak reports.
- Ensure the operation of production and utility machinery by performing maintenance on various machines according to diagrams manuals and
manufacturers instructions.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions by observing mechanical devices in operation identifying issues and making necessary repairs.
- Perform both minor and major repairs on refrigeration and utility systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
- Install equipment on utility systems as required.
- Comply with food safety Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements.
- Complete all required paperwork and SAP functions accurately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience or a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
- NJ Black Seal Boiler License (High Pressure or higher) is required.
- Experience in ElectroMechanical or a related field is preferred.
- Process Safety Management (PSM) experience is preferred.
- Must be willing and able to work in a cold environment (ranging from 20 to 40 degrees F) while wearing appropriate personal protective
equipment (PPE).
- Flexibility to work varying hours including weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Capable of performing repetitive motions such as pinching and grasping.
- Able to reach high and low levels frequently.
- Must be able to stand stoop walk and bend for up to 12 hours.
- Ability to climb stairs multiple times per hour.
Proficiency in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining refrigeration equipment and systems.
