Job Description:
As an EnglishSpeaking Medical Administrative Assistant your primary role will be to support the office by managing faxes lab reports patient referrals and prior authorizations. Your contributions will directly enhance the offices efficiency improving the patient experience through wellorganized administrative processes.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage incoming electronic faxes within the offices advanced EMR system.
- File and categorize medical documents such as lab reports into appropriate patient records.
- Assist with patient referrals to specialists ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Handle prior authorizations for medical procedures and treatments.
- Support general administrative tasks to maintain office workflow efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in medical terminology and EMR systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
