Job Description
This is a remote position.
- Consultant will support the Benefits Services Division with respect to data transfer among state agencies and supporting external vendors.
- Will act as a liaison between internal and external business units producing reports and analyzing reports from HRIS. Consultant will provide guidance on benefits related issues and processes.
- Will use functional expertise of benefits systems to conduct root cause analysis and make recommendations to management on ways to improve operational processes and maximize efficiencies.
- Consultant will have security level access into HRIS computer systems to make changes for employee eligibility as it pertains to state law rules policies and regulations.
- Position requires a sophisticated subject matter expertise in SQL and advanced skills in developing and using spreadsheets and database tables.
- Excellent skills in importing and exporting data into and from HRIS.
- Will have an excellent knowledge of the full software development lifecycle which includes requirements definition analysis design coding HRIS testing and implementation.
- Proficient skills in developing and executing project plans and dependability in meeting assigned project deadlines.
- Knowledge of benefits terminology to include plans types deductions and benefits issues related to dependents and beneficiaries.
- Knowledge of Google Suite applications
