Job Description

  • Review and verify all processes quality food safety and GMPrelated documents on a daily basis.
  • Ensure compliance with plant hygiene and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) implementation.
  • Review and verify the correctness of critical limits at all Critical Control Points (CCPs) to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Perform sampling at all process centers every 2 hours and analyze particle size and physical characteristics (organoleptic) of the product to ensure consistent output quality as per customer specifications.
  • Conduct intime sampling and analysis of incoming raw materials (factory or warehouse) semifinished goods finished products and byproducts for relevant analysis.
  • Execute batch sampling of final products following USFDA BAM protocols and ensure timely submission to the microbiologist every work shift.
  • Personally monitor critical processes like sifter tailing in safety screening allergen processing and container loading.
  • Ensure line clearance and equipment cleanliness within 2 hours of intimation by the production team preventing crosscontamination between product batches.
  • Adhere to the "First Time Right" (FTR) principle to achieve final product quality with zero rework due to IPQC failure ensuring minimal rework maximum recovery and reduced byproduct generation.
  • Strive for zero customer complaints due to IPQC failure.
  • Perform daily review and provide signatures on all relevant documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain nonconformance (NC) records to prevent issues during thirdparty and internal audits.
  • Maintain full traceability (forward and backward) for individual batches.
  • Ensure batch traceability files are completed before dispatch including details on PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control) allocation batchspecific instructions mass balancing nonconformities and process center monitoring and verification.
  • Investigate customer complaints within 24 hours and maintain a summary of all complaints and resolutions.


  • Requirements

    • BTech/MSc/MTech in BioTech/Chemistry/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Agriculture/Food Technology
    • 12 years of proven experience
    • Thorough knowledge of food safety HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
    • Familiarity with food safety certifications such as BRC ISO and FSSC is desirable.
    • Proactive approach with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
    • Excellent attention to detail for process monitoring and compliance.
    • Effective communication skills for reporting and issue resolution.
    • Ability to work with thirdparty suppliers to ensure highquality output with minimal customer complaints.
