Job Description
As a Technical Consultant specializing in Moodys Experience you will be responsible for providing expert
technical guidance and support to clients in implementing and optimizing solutions related to Informatica
technologies and Moodys Knowledge software. You will work closely with clients to understand their business
requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions using the Informatica platform and Moodys
Knowledge tools.
Client Engagement: Engage with clients to gather business requirements understand their technical
needs and provide expert advice on leveraging Informatica and Moodys Knowledge for their specific
use cases.
Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and architect endtoend
technical solutions using Informatica and Moodys Knowledge considering data integration data
quality and data governance aspects.
Implementation: Lead or support the implementation of Informatica and Moodys Knowledge
solutions including installation configuration customization and integration with other systems or
databases.
Data Integration: Develop data integration workflows and mappings using Informatica PowerCenter
or other relevant tools to extract transform and load (ETL) data from various sources into target
systems.
Data Quality and Governance: Implement data quality rules and controls using Informatica Data
Quality (IDQ) or similar tools to ensure data accuracy consistency and compliance with regulatory
requirements.
Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Informatica and Moodys
Knowledge solutions including tuning ETL processes optimizing data flows and enhancing overall
system efficiency.
Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct comprehensive testing of Informatica and Moodys Knowledge
solutions to ensure their functionality reliability and adherence to client requirements. Investigate
and resolve technical issues or bugs as needed.
Documentation and Training: Prepare technical documentation including solution architecture
design specifications and user guides. Conduct training sessions or workshops for clients and end
users to educate them on the implemented solutions.
Industry and Product Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest industry trends best practices and
advancements in Informatica technologies and Moodys Knowledge software. Apply this knowledge to
enhance the quality and effectiveness of client solutions.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Technical Consultant preferably with expertise in Informatica PL/SQL Unix
Control M and Moodys Experience
Strong knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and other relevant
Informatica products.
Familiarity with Moodys Knowledge software including Moodys Analytics Risk Foundation Risk
Authority or similar platforms.
Proficiency in PL/SQL and data modeling concepts.
Experience with data integration ETL processes Control M and data warehousing principles.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients stakeholders and
team members.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fastpaced environment.
Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
Mandatory Skills: Pl/SQL Unix Control M & Moodys.
