Supplier Quality Engineer

Your role

Cooperate with Sourcing on new supplier evaluation and qualification process.

Supplier quality management system and material quality compliance performance statistic analysis management to ensure material stable good quality supply

Material control plan and inspection plan design /evaluation /optimize per material specific category and risk level purpose to timely control abnormal situation and address long term quality assurance solutions/ control plans.

IQC WI draft per designed needs and training to operator

Lead/ Drive suppliers for continuous yield improvement cost reduction regular quality audit

Cooperate with RD on material compliance evaluation and qualification

Coordinate Supplier Change requests in supplier interface and internally.

Responsibilities

New EMS Qualification

Lead supplier quality management system evaluation and audit with crossfunctional team.
Product requirement understanding from EMS reevaluation to ensure alignment right control within each other.
Cooperate with RD on PCB/PCBA manufacturing process development robustness evaluation and material qualification.
New material design needs train to operator before proto build.
Before MP stage IQC high risk issue highlight to project management team and supplier directly for improve.
Leading of SCR process management to mitigate quality risks trigger by change ensure stable material supply per demands.
Lead of abnormal quality issue improvements driven and routine material performance statistical analysis and improvements mtg/project driven to EMS to ensure good material supply.
Leading of routine supplier audit.
WI standardized and OP training to make sure product needs well control at IQC process.
OthersOther tasks assigned by superiorSuperiors assessment or timely completion with good quality.

What we expect

Essential
5 year working experience in Supplier Quality Management focus on high density PCB/SMT manufacturing management.
Familiar with ISO9001 TS16949 ISO14001 standard and operational management.
Familiar with QC tools and 8D methodology.
Working experience or knowledge in rigid rigidflex flex PCB manufacturing process.
Good knowledge and understanding of IPC A 600 / IPC6010 etc standards.
Good knowledge of lean manufacturing statistic data analysis and six sigma methodology to resolve quality issues.
Able to read and understand the PCB/PCBA related specification drawing layout.
Fluent communication in English.
Desirable
SMT assembly knowledge
Material science and chemistry knowledge
Six sigma green belt certification
Regulatory requirement knowledge (RoHS REACH Conflict Minerals etc.)
Qualifications
Bachelor or higher degree in electronics engineering automation or equivalent major.
More than 5 years work experience in Supplier Quality Management

Location

This position is based in Beijing with close collaboration with our global teams. You will be reporting to the Quality Manager Systems.
