Job Title: Accreditation Manager
Job Summary:
The Accreditation Manager ensures that the organization meets and maintains the required
standards for accreditation by overseeing all related processes. This role involves coordinating
and managing accreditation activities ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and
maintaining documentation. The Accreditation Manager works closely with internal departments
and external agencies to facilitate the accreditation process.
Key Responsibilities:
Accreditation Process Management:
o Lead and manage the accreditation process including initial accreditation and
reaccreditation. Specialization in ISO/IEC 170211: Conformity Assessment
Requirements for Bodies Providing Audit and Certification of Management
Systems
o Develop and implement strategies to achieve and
maintain accreditation standards.
o Coordinate with various departments to gather review and organize necessary
documentation.
o Prepare and submit accreditation applications and reports to accrediting bodies.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
o Monitor organizational compliance with accreditation standards and regulations.
o Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
o Ensure that all policies procedures and practices
meet accreditation requirements.
o Develop and implement corrective action plans to address areas of noncompliance.
Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain accurate records of accreditationrelated activities including reports
correspondence and evidence of compliance.
o Prepare and present reports to senior management and accrediting bodies as
required.
o Ensure that all documentation is uptodate and readily accessible
for accreditation reviews.
o Stay informed about changes in accreditation requirements and communicate
updates to relevant stakeholders.
Liaison and Communication:
o Coordinate site visits and prepare the organization for external reviews.
o Facilitate communication between internal departments and accrediting
bodies.
Continuous Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance
the accreditation process.
o Collaborate with internal teams to implement best practices and innovative
solutions.
o Monitor industry trends and standards to ensure the organization remains
compliant with the latest accreditation requirements.
Should be able to work on any international accreditations or country specific
accreditation requirements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in accreditation management quality assurance or a related field
specially in
1. ISO/IEC 170211: Conformity Assessment Requirements for Bodies Providing
Audit and Certification of Management Systems
2. ISO/IEC 17065: Conformity Assessment Requirements for Bodies Certifying
Products Processes and Services
3. ISO/IEC 17024: Conformity Assessment General Requirements for Bodies
Operating Certification of Persons
4. ISO/IEC 17025: General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and
Calibration Laboratories
5. IAF MD Documents (International Accreditation Forum Mandatory Documents)
Strong understanding of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with certification bodies relevant to the organization
