Role Overview

As a Java Engineer you will be instrumental in architecting implementing and delivering missioncritical IT solutions. You can also be involved in solving highly complex legacy modernisation strategies. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs tackle complex challenges and provide innovative solutions that add substantial value. Your role will involve implementing backend services and microservices architectures ensuring the performance security and reliability of applications.

We seek a professional who combines deep technical expertise with a dedication to quality and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams mentor junior engineers and contribute to enhancing development practices.

Requirements

What We re Looking For

• Educational Background: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  
• Experience: At least 6 years of relevant experience in Java development ideally Java 17 and Kotlin.
  
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in Spring Framework Spring Boot microservices Maven/Gradle and REST APIs (SOAP/GraphQL is a bonus). Familiarity with Git CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitLab/Azure DevOps) and cloudnative development. Any experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g: Angular React)
  
• Language Skills: Fluency in Dutch (spoken and written) at C2 level.
  
• Consulting Mindset: Comfortable working across different client environments and cultures balancing technical excellence with practical solutions.
