Compliance Officer

• Responsible for preparing the traceability details for the Projects (OGG Processing unit warehouse) as given by Certification department.
  
• Responsible for renewals of Projects and implementation of organic sustainable & Social standard requirements in the Projects.
  
• Assist the team with TC documentation and Applications of TC.
  
• Help the Project teams in preparing the Audit documents for OGG Processing unit warehouse documents.
  
• Conduct Farmers training and encourage organic production.
  
• POP preparation for crop production.
  
• Coordinate and assist in the external auditing.
  
• Prepare the documentation of Projects as per the standard requirements.
  
• Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the documentation related to audits.
  
• Be the point of contact for the Certification team for any related requirements and followup with Certification Bodies.
  
• Responsible to handle certification for Nigeria locations.
  
• Willing to travel to international project location
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in organic certification processes agricultural project management or sustainability compliance.
  Bachelor s degree in Agriculture (B.Sc Agri) Agricultural Science Agribusiness or a related field is required.
• Master s degree in Agriculture (M.Sc Agri) or a related field is an advantage.
  
• Additional certifications in Organic Farming Sustainability or related standards are a plus.
  
• Proven experience in managing audits preparing documentation and working with certification bodies for organic sustainable or social standards.
  
• Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously ensuring documentation is accurate uptodate and aligned with certification standards.
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to conduct farmer training programs ensuring compliance with organic production standards.
