Job Description
We are working with a leading chemical company and as part of their continued growth NodeFlair has been engaged to search for a Senior IT Engineer to join their Singapore team.
This position reports to the Senior Manager of IT & Administration and is responsible for managing IT infrastructure to ensure a stable and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer manage and maintain networks servers and storage.
- Provide technical support for hardware software and peripherals ensuring proper setup for local and regional users.
- Support IT projects and recommend solutions to enhance operations.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and manage security appliances.
- Perform data backups system restoration and disaster recovery exercises.
- Monitor system logs and address security threats.
- Collaborate with headquarters and IT vendors on system implementations and hardware issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Computer Engineering or a related field with 5 years of experience.
- Expertise in IT Security (Firewall NAC Cloud security) Server/Storage Administration (NetApp Switch) Virtualization (VMware HyperV) and Cloud Admin (Azure AWS).
- IT Project Management Microsoft/Cisco certifications and Cloud IT Management preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
