Job Description
Job Purpose
Develop and administer Technical Engineering plans and programs to facilitate outofgauge cargo movements either ad hoc or as part of a longer project in line with business strategy and objectives guidelines and policies.

Key Tasks
- Develop and administer Technical Engineering plans and programs to facilitate outofgauge cargo movements either ad hoc or as part of a longer project
- Generate visualizations of proposed solutions in CAD software
- Develop and formulate technical work packages including engineering design and analysis related to outofgauge cargo transportation and handling.
Prepare technical documents to support bid responses Perform review and validation of subcontractor plans method statements and heavylift manuals
- Research and evaluate development of new products and procedures and assist in laying out project specifications
Attend client meetings to convey technical concepts and designs Follow industry standards and best practices for handling and transportation of cargo
- Prioritize and coordinate all necessary engineering work and ensure company standards
Stakeholders
- Connect with and influence other specialist departments and 3rd parties e.g. external service providers
- May convince others to accept new concepts practices and approaches
- Provide technical guidance to line managers and employees
Management Responsibility
- Individual contributor without direct responsibility for leading others
- May direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs
- Coach and review the work of lower level professionals
