Job Description
Overview:
As a Senior SAP Logistics Consultant you will play a crucial role in leading and delivering endtoend SAP solutions for logistics and supply chain management. Working closely with clients you will analyze business processes design and implement SAP solutions and provide expert guidance to optimize logistics operations. Your contribution will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our clients supply chain management making this position integral to our organizations success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the implementation and deployment of SAP logistics solutions
- Analyze clients supply chain processes and develop customized SAP solutions
- Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices in logistics and supply chain management
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP logistics modules
- Identify and troubleshoot issues providing timely resolutions and enhancements
- Manage project timelines resources and deliverables to ensure successful project completion
- Assist in presales activities by providing technical expertise and solution recommendations
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvements
- Contribute to the development of best practices methodologies and tools for SAP logistics consulting
- Build and foster strong client relationships through effective communication and delivery excellence
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants and project teams
- Participate in the development and review of proposals statements of work and project plans
- Contribute to the overall growth and strategic direction of the SAP logistics practice
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Supply Chain Management Logistics Information Technology or related field
- 5 years of handson experience in SAP logistics and supply chain management
- Proven expertise in implementing and customizing SAP Logistics Warehouse Management and Transportation Management modules
- Strong understanding of integration points between logistics and other SAP modules such as MM SD and PP
- Excellent problemsolving abilities with a focus on delivering effective and sustainable solutions
- Project management experience with the ability to lead and manage SAP logistics projects
- Demonstrated experience in client engagement requirements gathering and solution design
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning
- Certification in SAP Logistics or other relevant SAP certifications is a plus
- Experience in leading and mentoring junior consultants and project teams
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic fastpaced environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into SAP solutions
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
- Thorough understanding of industryspecific challenges and best practices in logistics and supply chain management
