Job Description
Experience: 35 years in technical documentation
Location: Coimbatore/Chennai
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have 35 years of experience in technical documentation strong proficiency in technical writing concepts excellent graphics communication and writing skills as well as the ability to create video documentation. The candidate should be proficient in organizing and authoring content to ensure clarity and comprehension. Experience with DITA and XMLbased authoring tools specifically Madcap Flare is preferred. Proficiency in video creation using tools like Adobe Pro is also desirable.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain highquality technical documentation including Help Systems User Guides and Release Notes.
Utilize DITA and XMLbased authoring tools with a preference for experience in Madcap Flare to efficiently organize and author content.
Create engaging video documentation using video casting tools.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams including Engineering Support Marketing Sales and Training to ensure timely and effective user experiences for our customers.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of multiple software platforms preferably in the SaaS domain.
Handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
Provide shareable samples of previous technical documentation or content creation work.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
35 years of experience in technical writing with a strong portfolio of previous work.
Proficiency in technical writing concepts graphics and communication.
Experience with DITA and XMLbased authoring tools especially Madcap Flare.
Competence in video creation tools.
Strong organizational skills to create clear and understandable documentation.
Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
Working knowledge of software particularly in the SaaS domain.
Excellent multitasking abilities.
