Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management within the transformer or related industries with a focus on improving efficiency reducing costs and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field. Master s degree or professional certification (e.g. APICS CSCP) is a plus.
- Proven experience (5 years) in supply chain management preferably within the transformer or industrial manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes inventory management logistics and procurement.
- Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals and objectives. Analyze market trends and forecast future supply chain needs.
- Supplier Management: Identify evaluate and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure costeffective procurement and timely delivery.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to balance supply and demand. Implement inventory control practices to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics and transportation to ensure efficient and timely delivery of materials and products. Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain. Implement best practices and technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments including production sales and quality assurance to ensure seamless supply chain operations and address any issues that arise.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain. Monitor and respond to any supply chain challenges or disruptions.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance including key metrics such as lead times cost savings and supplier performance. Analyze data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
