Overview:
The Technical Recruiter plays a critical role in the organizations talent acquisition process ensuring the identification and selection of top technical talent to support the companys growth and success. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers understanding technical requirements and executing recruitment strategies to attract the best candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract top technical talent.
- Source screen and engage potential candidates through various channels including online job boards social media and professional networks.
- Conduct interviews and technical assessments to evaluate candidates technical skills experience and cultural fit.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and establish candidate profiles.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
- Manage and negotiate offers ensuring competitive and compelling packages for candidates.
- Utilize recruitment tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process.
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical recruiting.
- Manage and maintain accurate candidate records and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience as a technical recruiter or in a similar talent acquisition role.
- Demonstrated ability to assess technical skills and effectively screen technical candidates.
- Strong understanding of technical roles and requirements within the IT industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective candidate engagement and relationship building.
- Experience in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques and tools including LinkedIn and other professional networks.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations related to the recruitment process.
- Proactive and resultsdriven approach to talent acquisition.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Certification in HR or talent acquisition (e.g. SHRMCP AIRS or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience in the technology industry or recruiting technical roles is highly desirable.
