Position Summary:
Contiem is looking for an Instructional Designer to deliver highquality training solutions through client projects and training modules for our products and services. This is a clientfacing role requiring consulting and subjectmatter expertise underpinned by a strong delivery track record.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Professional Services projects are across industry verticals like Publishing Consumer Products Healthcare Technology and Financial Services. RSuite clients are provided with instructional product videos to help onboard their teams and rapidly achieve their publishing objectives. The key expectations for projects are:
- Understand client problem statements define learning objectives and recommend training strategies to achieve learning outcomes.
- Conduct different types of needs assessment (audience/role analysis task analysis gap analysis and content analysis) identify gaps in performance and determine training needs.
- Document analysis results and recommendations in clientfacing strategies plans and reports. Plan and create appropriate content outlines course content interactive exercises assessments and job aids to achieve learning outcomes.
- Implement ID frameworks like the ADDIE process and execute ID pedagogy ID principles and ID tools.
- Design and develop instructorled training (ILT) online training (WBT and VILT) blended training or microlearning as determined from the needs assessment and content analysis. Independently develop L1 and L2 training courses.
- Act as a key member of the team along with Project Managers Subject Matter Experts and others in determining the needs of the course the overall instructional flow of a program and the appropriate method of delivery. Interact with other project teams to ensure consistency of deliverables.
- Provide status reports and participate actively in client meetings.
- Achieve customer delight through experience soft skills and solution definition.
- PreSales Support
- Assist the sales team to understand potential client requirements and provide effort estimates.
- Exhibit training expertise by creating casestudyquality artifacts.
- Capability Building
- Assist the management team in defining the capability requirements to expand the training team.
- Leverage your experience to enhance team capabilities by actively participating in quality reviews and recommending improvements for compliance with best practices guidelines processes and standards
Experience and Skills
Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:
- Indian citizenship and passport; able to travel to any country.
- Bachelor s degree.
- 35 years of relevant experience in Instructional Design and Courseware Development projects.
- Experience with solutioning and creating instructional content storyboards and engaging training content.
- Proficiency in courseware development tools like Articulate Studio Storyline Adobe Captivate and Lectora.
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency with Basic digital image editing.
- Experience working with global clients.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Certification or degree in Instructional Systems Design Education Training/Curriculum Development Technical Communication or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Comprehension of increasingly complex products processes and projects.
- Flexibility to adapt to new ideas changes and feedback.
- Ability to conceptualize content visually by collaborating with graphic designers and technical team members.
- Exhibiting an exceptional eye for detail to create the final product within specified timelines.
- Demonstrated experience in committing to and meeting external customer expectations.
- Ability to work in a teambased environment and as an individual contributor or specialist.
- Ability to work effectively with subject matter experts to conduct research and resolve issues.
