Overview

Key responsibilities

• Design deploy and manage Azure PaaS solutions including web apps APIs and databases
• Optimize application development and deployment processes for scalability and high availability
• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to architect cloud solutions based on business requirements
• Implement security measures and best practices for Azure PaaS environments
• Monitor troubleshoot and resolve performance issues to ensure optimal PaaS performance
• Automate deployment and management processes using Azure DevOps or similar tools
• Provide technical guidance and support to ensure seamless integration with other Azure services
• Stay updated with the latest Azure PaaS features and recommend their adoption for business needs
• Manage Azure PaaS costs and resources to optimize efficiency and ROI
• Document design implementation and maintenance procedures for Azure PaaS solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into PaaS architecture
• Participate in oncall rotation for supporting Azure PaaS environments
• Conduct training and knowledge sharing sessions for internal teams on Azure PaaS best practices
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of organizational Azure PaaS standards and policies
• Participate in performance reviews and capacity planning to ensure the scalability and resilience of Azure PaaS solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
• Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
• Proven experience in designing implementing and managing Azure PaaS solutions
• Indepth knowledge of Azure PaaS services such as Azure App Service Azure SQL Database and Azure API Management
• Proficiency in Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure PowerShell scripting
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes on Azure
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards
• Handson experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code concepts
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Azure PaaS performance and reliability
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in DevOpsoriented environments
• Capability to translate business requirements into scalable PaaS architectures
• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities to address complex PaaS challenges
• Good understanding of networking principles and their application in Azure PaaS environments
• Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a dynamic and fastpaced environment
