Job Description
Job Title: Azure Cloud Architect (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and manage cloudbased solutions on Microsoft Azure that leverage Kubernetes Istio Rancher and other relevant technologies.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform for efficient resource provisioning and management.
- Implement and manage service mesh architectures to enhance microservices communication security and observability.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure best practices for cloud architecture security and governance.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud services tools and frameworks to optimize performance and reduce costs.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide guidance on design patterns and best practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Stay current with Azure updates industry trends and emerging technologies related to cloud architecture and containerization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience in cloud architecture with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in container orchestration technologies particularly Kubernetes.
- Experience with service mesh architectures including Istio and Rancher.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code implementation.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools for cloudnative applications.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Azure certification (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert) is highly desirable.
- Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana Azure Monitor).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
