Job Description
This role is for one of the Weekdays clients
We are looking for an enthusiastic selfmotivated handson Senior React Front End Engineer to join the Front End platform engineering team for our partner. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a fastpaced India/US product startup or product engineering services company in a developer role building software that assists utilities and infrastructure operators in working safely and efficiently. The software solutions combine intuitive interfaces with large external data sets and machine learning models to drive optimal decisionmaking while adhering to high security and data privacy standards.
Tech Stack:
Front End:
- TypeScript / JavaScript
- React Reactquery
- Storybook TailwindCSS SASS
- Jest React Testing Library Cypress
Additional Knowledge (Nice to Have):
- Python
- FastAPI or other API frameworks
- GraphQL Strawberry GraphQL
- PostgreSQL
- Kubernetes
- GCP
- Terraform
Who You Are:
- 710 years of overall software development experience.
- At least 7 years of recent experience working with React.js.
- Deep understanding of React.js and its core principles.
- Previous experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
- Experience working with databases such as MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with TailwindCSS (utilityfirst CSS framework).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a startup environment.
Additional Project/Soft Skills:
- Ability to work independently with team members based in both India and the US.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate problems and solutions.
- A strong sense of urgency with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure managing multiple tasks and projects.
- Demonstrated problemsolving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
