MasterTech is seeking a qualified Hydraulic Engineer to join the dynamic team of electric power control systems and hydraulic services facility in Guelph ON. that provides advanced solutions in fluid conveyance and power controls.
The candidate must be able to:
- Analyze system faults programming debugging and commissioning as well as contributing to machine planning and selecting key components.
- Develop and implement software solutions for both mobile and industrial control systems.
- Program analyze simulate and test programmable logic control (PLC) systems ensuring they meet design specifications.
- Monitor the process of creating detailed electrical and logical schematics including models for wiring harnesses.
- Oversee the work of mechanical designers on control system integration; and develop hydraulic and mechanical systems with electronic controls.
- Establish new client relationships and define project goals scope and requirements.
- Liaise with vendors suppliers and contractors to explore and integrate new technologies.
Key Qualifications:
- BA in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with the focus on Hydraulics (MA will be an asset)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical or mechatronic engineering.
- Proficient in CAD design and strong knowledge of AC & DC systems electrical schematics and control methods as well as fluid dynamics.
- Excellent technical problemsolving skills and mechanical aptitude.
Compensation:
- $/annual to start.

Shift: 8AM start time Monday to Friday. 810 hour days averaging around 44 hour work weeks. Overtime paid after 44 hours per week
