Your Way to Impact:
As Principal Design Program Manager you will collaborate with crossfunctional team members to deliver the best possible experiences for our customers. You will be part of an immersive fastpaced environment overseeing multiple projects across different customer segments for Venmo and working collaboratively across Design Content and Research functions.
As Principal Design Program Manager you will collaborate with crossfunctional team members to deliver the best possible experiences for our customers. You will be part of an immersive fastpaced environment overseeing multiple projects across different customer segments for Venmo and working collaboratively across Design Content and Research functions.
Your Day to Day:
- Guide UX efforts across product design teams including planning and working with crossfunctional partners to remove blockers and presenting effectively to senior staff and stakeholders.
- Own program strategy for endtoend delivery using product development process lifecycles and workflows.
- Collaborate with other crossfunctional Design team members (Research Content Design Design Operations Branding) and Business and Engineering stakeholders.
- Drive best practices in process and methodology to deliver against business and customer needs.
- Drive continuous improvement to design operations and processes (intake capacity planning tooling workflow mapping)
What You Need to Bring:
- A successful candidate should have at least 10 years of experience as a producer project manager or program manager with
- Proven ability in managing multiple projects within a design team or design operations is required.
- Candidates should have a thorough command of the UX lifecycle knowledgeable in all skill areas and tools including facilitation of workshops or other collaboration techniques.
- Background in software product or design development and ability to understand technical structures challenges and risks quickly conceptually is preferred.
- Experience breaking down complex problems and driving decisionmaking and prioritization discussions.
- Ability to work crossteam and synthesize feedback from multiple teams/owners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in FinTech or a similar industry is an advantage.
