SAP S4 Configuration Manager

We are seeking an experienced SAP S4 Configuration Manager to lead and optimize product and service configuration management across the full lifecycle.

As a Configuration Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping and streamlining configuration management processes across product lifecycles from R&D to manufacturing within a dynamic digitally transforming environment. Your expertise in SAP S4 digital thread and PLM systems will drive efficiency compliance and innovation ensuring product consistency and quality.

Location: Europe (Poland preferred)

Tasks

• Global Template Development: Create and customize a global configuration management template for use across product design and manufacturing phases.
• Configuration Strategy: Define strategies for managing product configurations ensuring seamless integration between R&D design transfer and production processes.
• Digital Thread & PLM Integration: Leverage your knowledge of digital thread to assist in the digital transformation of our PLM system ensuring full integration of digital processes.
• Process Harmonization: Standardize configuration management practices across teams and departments fostering collaboration and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
• Change Control & Versioning: Oversee change management and version control to ensure traceability and compliance with GMP and ISO standards.
• SAP Integration: Use your expertise in SAP S4 to enhance configuration workflows working closely with IT and digital transformation teams.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in configuration management ideally within a GMPregulated industry.
• PLM & SAP Expertise: Practical experience with PLM systems (especially during digital transformation) and strong familiarity with SAP S4 or similar ERP systems.
• Digital Thread: Indepth understanding of digital thread concepts and their practical application in configuration management.
• Analytical & DetailOriented: Strong analytical skills attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving complex problems
• Fluent in English and Polish; German is a plus.
