Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking Senior Data Scientist (Python) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product design and engineering to develop an understanding of the needs.
- Research and devise innovative statistical models for data analysis.
- Enable smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights.
- Keep current with technical and industry developments.
- Build tools to automate data collection.
Nicetohave:
- Experience in the power industry.
- Expertise with the python programming stack (python numpy pandas etc.).
- Comfortable working in a dynamic researchoriented group with several ongoing concurrent projects.
Requirements
- Exceptional technical writing skills
- Ability to visualize data in the most effective way possible
- Analytical and problemsolving skills
- Experience with machine learning AI and statistical techniques
- Familiarity with data management tools
- Ability to work independently and with team members from different backgrounds
- Advanced pattern recognition and predictive modeling experience
- Excellent attention to details
- Ability to communicate complex data in a simple actionable way
- Experience with Excel PowerPoint SQL and programming languages such as Python or Java.
