Job Description: Inside Sales Manager
Position Overview:
The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading the Inside Sales Representatives (ISR) team driving sales performance and ensuring that targets are met. This role includes managing the team conducting virtual or physical meetings with customers as needed and overseeing the entire sales process to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership
- Lead and manage the Inside Sales Representatives (ISR) team providing guidance support and coaching.
- Set clear sales targets for the team and monitor their performance to ensure goals are met.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review progress share best practices and address challenges.
2. Customer Engagement
- Conduct virtual or physical meetings with customers as needed to support the sales process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers addressing their needs and concerns.
- Assist the team in closing deals by providing additional support during customer interactions.
3. Sales Strategy & Target Achievement
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve team targets.
- Monitor sales metrics and KPIs making necessary adjustments to ensure the team meets or exceeds their goals.
- Collaborate with the sales leadership to align team objectives with overall business goals.
4. Lead Management & Conversion
- Oversee the lead generation process ensuring that the ISR team is effectively identifying and qualifying new opportunities.
- Track lead conversion rates and work with the team to improve performance.
- Ensure that all leads and sales activities are accurately recorded in the CRM system.
5. Training & Development
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the ISR team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the team remains competitive.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.
6. CRM Management & Reporting
- Ensure the CRM system is accurately maintained with uptodate information on customer interactions leads and sales activities.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on team performance sales forecasts and target achievement.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales management preferably in an inside sales environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct virtual and physical meetings with customers.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
