Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Officer to join our team in the logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in logistics and a strong understanding of supply chain management. The Logistics Officer will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations ensuring efficiency and accuracy in the movement of goods.
Responsibilities:
. Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
. Ensure all shipments are handled efficiently and accurately
. Communicate with suppliers retailers and customers to achieve optimal logistics solutions
. Resolve any issues related to transportation and logistics
. Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments
. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the supply chain
. Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency
. Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes
Requirements
5 years of experience in logistics
Strong understanding of supply chain management
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office suite
Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement
Strong organizational and problemsolving skills
Bachelors degree in logistics supply chain management or related field
