The role of a BusinessDevelopment Executive / Manager is to assist theorganisation's sales and growth effort by contributing tonew customer acquisition.
He should be able to provide ideas toattract new clients and keep the senior management updated aboutmarketplace and competitors’activity.
• Build contacts with potentialclients to create new businessopportunities
• Keep prospective client databaseupdated
• Make cold calls for new businessleads
• Support in writing new businessproposals
• Maintain knowledge of all productand service offerings of thecompany
• Arrange meetings for seniormanagement with prospectiveclients
• Follow company guidelines andprocedures for the acquisition of customers submission of tendersetc.
